Project Statement

Located in Southeast London, Rotherhithe, in the junction of the town centre. The main street Lower Road and Surrey Quay station railway is causing a loud noise. The Southwark Park is located in front of the site with large trees containing birds. The project aims to create playable spaces for children in the Rotherhithe area, minimizing the transportation sound by creating the curtain-shaped green walls, bookshelves and double glazing windows, also bringing the birds from near the park creating natural speakers on the wall and collecting bird chirping sound from the green roof, carrying sounds down to the reading pods using the trumpet-shaped pipe
